Full Description
"Situated on the crest of the slope at the south-western corner of Eilean Chalium Cille the ephemeral remains of this structure measure 8 x 4 metres and stand no more than 0.5 metres high. Consisting of turf and stone walls, a single internal cell can be seen, however, the walls are too collapsed for any other internal features or entrance to be identified. This structure is likely to mark the location of a blackhouse, its size and form suggesting that it is pre-crofting in date (possibly medieval in origin). This house is likely to be related to that seen to the east (1.3) forming part of a dispersed centre settlement running along the crest of the slope on the south and west sides of Eilean Chalium Cille (1)."
