Full Description

"Situated at the highest point og Creag Mhor on the northern shore of Eilean Chalium Cille the fragmentary remains of this cairn measure 2.5 metres in diameter and stand to a maximum of 0.5 metres. This structure has been heavily effected by erosion and survives as a tumble of stones, covered for much of its area with a thick, short turf. Interpretation of function is difficult as there are the remains of a possible, fragmentary kerb suggesting that the cairn is early prehistoric in origin, but equally the structure may represent the remains of a later navigation cairn, situated on the high ground to aid coastal navigation through Loch Erisort." (Burgess 2004, 79)
