Full Description

"Situated immediately to the south of house (33.1) the remains of this structure survive as a raised platform or footing measuring 8 x 3 metres and standing no more than 0.2 metres tall. Orientated from south-west to north-east, fragmentary remains of stonework can be seen along its north-west facing side. No other remains survive to help define the form of this structure, though its size and form suggest that it may have been either a prefabricated building, or the remains of an early blackhouse, dismantled to provide building material for the other structures in the immediate vicinity (33.1 and 33.2)." (Burgess 2004, 109)
