Full Description

"Situated on the western shore of Loch nam Bodach, this structure measures 9 metres from north to south and is constructed of boulders to form a platform on the shore of the loch up to a maximum of 2 metres in depth. This platform would provide an excellent vantage point for shore fishing at any state of the tide, but equally might have acted as a small dock for boarding boats." (Burgess 2004, 131-132)
