Full Description

"Situated at the foot of a cliff on the southern slopes of Cnoc Dubh overlooking Camas Thormaid the remains of this structure consist of an L-shaped stone faced, earthen cored wall that runs south for 3 metres then east for 3 metres to form a small enclosure against a large natural bedrock boulder to the north. This substantial structure is located inconspicuously within the landscape and is similar in form to several other sites located to the north-west (39.1 and 39.2) that have been provisionally interpreted as stills. Equally this site may be a form of sheiling as it is located with excellent views over much of the lower slopes of Cnoc Dubh." (Burgess 2004, 132)
