Full Description

"Situated on the eastern side of the isthmus of land between Camas Thormaid and Loch Cromore this feature measures 3 metres in diameter and stands to a height of 0.4 metres. It is constructed of stone and turf and takes the form of a single cell with an entrance to the south. This structure is likely to be a sheiling and may date to any time from the medieval through to the pre-crofting phase. Its purpose above the shores of Camas Thormaid may either be for fishing or stock management, or both. Well (67) is located ca 14 metres to the north." (Burgess 2004, 153)
