Full Description

"This natural rock shelter lies at the foot of the cliff on the eastern side of Meall na Moine. Formed by a huge slab of bedrock that has fallen onto several small boulders, it provides a covered area of 3 x 3 metres with between 0.75 and 0.2 metres clearance. While there is no evidence of human usage within the shelter the front seems to have been accentuated with a line of stones that may have originally formed a blocking or sheltering wall. Internally there is evidence of recent occupation by animals." (Burgess 2004, 154)
