Full Description

"Mixed elements of feannagan and later square cut lazybeds may be seen covering much of the north-west facing slopes above the eastern shore of Tob na Muilne. These cultivation remains are interspersed with extensive clearance cairns and banks. The feannagan or irregular lazybeds are likely to date to the pre-crofting phase, though they may have seen re-use in the crofting period. The square cut beds are crofting in date and are likely to date to the expansion of Cromore along the south coast of Loch Erisort to the west from the core of the crofting township." (Burgess 2004, 166)
