Full Description

V147 NB 19210 10707. Grassy mound of diameter c. 20m and height c. 2m set some 10 m offshore but accessible at low tide. Three main features:

(a) At north, remains of stone-faced jetty or boathouse now infilled with large stones and covering area of c. 15 x 10m. Facings along south side evident for c. 4m. Some facings also evident along east side. Likely depth c. 1.75m.
(b) Sub-circular turf and stone structure c. 2.5 x 2m internally, utilising large outcrop at east. Entrance at south side. Wall thickness c. 0.7m and of maximum surviving height c. 0.4m.
C Sub-circular turf and stone structure c. 2 x 15m internally, utilising large outcrop at south. Wall thickness c. 0.5m and of maximum surviving height c. 1m.
