NB34NE 39 centred on 365 482

An extensive system of head-dykes which runs roughly NE-SW from NB 382 511 to NB 323 470 is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1853, sheet 8). It adjoins another system of head-dykes to the NE (NB45SW 31).
Some lengths of head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
