A head-dyke which is split into three lengths by two lochs and runs from NB 410 285 394 316 is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1854, sheet 27). One short section of the head-dyke is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
