A steep sided island with one notible low area at its southern end. At this piont, ruins occupy most of the area. These are made up of large rectangular building comprising of thick stone and turf walls with a likely entrance to east facing elevation. Attached to this structure is an oval shaped building to the west of the same apparent build. This arrangement looks similar to blackhouses with attached byres. Directly to the south is a raised but level circular area that may have another structure(circular) on it. A small bay is located adjacent to these structures on the east side. Two parallel lines of stones run into the tidal zone, indicating a naust and jetty type feature.
The approximate dimesions of the main building were 7m x6m x1m.
The site was heavily grassed over when visited. The western side of the main feature is starting to be undermined through erosion by the sea.
