What may be a single unroofed shieling-hut is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1854, sheet 18). This site lies within a system of head-dykes (NB24SW 60) centred on NB 218 412.
The shieling-hut is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).

Sheiling type structure located on a raised area adjacent to natural rock outcrop.
It comprises of a circular grassy mound with a concave centre with some internal stones. Probable entrance to south east with a smaller circular area visible, possibly adjoining it. An additional smaller structure in located several metres to the north comprising of upright and scattered stones, possibly representing some form of cleit.
