What may be three roofed shieling-huts are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1851, sheet 20), but they are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).

REPORT DATE: 22/01/2001
The map sheet appears to depicted one of the huts sitting on a circular mound and current AP's show a sub circular grassy mound, possibly robbed out on its northern extent. It would beneficail to visit this site to get a clearer view to its origins.
