A township, comprising four unroofed buildings annotated 'ruins', three enclosures and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1852, sheet 15). The site of the township has been incorporated into the large crofting township of Griais and therefore is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1991).
