NB24NE 8.11 centred on 295 479

A linear crofting township, comprising thirty-five roofed, three unroofed buildings and twenty-six enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 8). It has been replaced by the present crofting township shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974) which is situated a little distance to the S of that depicted on the OS 1st edition map.
