What may be a township, comprising three roofed building, two of which are annotated as 'Mils (Corn)', one unroofed building, one enclosure and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1853, sheet 12). In addition an extensive system of head-dykes (NB24SW 58), which may be partly associated with this townships, lies to the SE.
Part of the head-dyke is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
