What may be five unroofed shieling-huts and seven enclosures are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1853, sheet 12), but they are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).

Turf structure identified in walkover for peatland restoration project (Atlantic58). Raised slightly above the surrounding boggy area and next to a small burn; this feature comprises of sub-circular grassed over banks with concave internal area, approx 3mx4m.
