Three unroofed buildings and a possible enclosure denoted by a pecked line are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1853, sheet 25). Two unroofed buildings, one unroofed structure and one enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 29 September 1997.

Two structures are visible as grass and turf covered walls. The first is partially visible & overlain by a long rectangular drystone enclosure, presumibly constructed from the earlier building. The second structure is sub-rectangular with rounded ends, orientated NW/SE. This building is a corn drying kiln, the line of the flue and the chamber construction being reasonably intact. These structures are contained within a turf banked 'D' shaped enclosure with possible gate piers standing upright to the NW in deep heather. An additional stucture is located on a natural rock outcrop, approx 60m directly to the north. This is an 'L' shaped building and comprises of grass covered stone walls and is likely to be a blackhouse style structure. All these structures are surrounded by cultivation ridging that characterises this part of the eastern shore of the island. Peat cuttings are visible above the areas of former cultivation and a small slipway stone built slipway is located 70m to the SSE of the kiln.
Below these ruins is a modern bothy located next to the coastal edge.
