What may be five roofed shieling-huts, one unroofed shieling-hut and one enclosure are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1851, sheet 20). One unroofed building which may be a shieling-hut and one small enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1972).

Current AP's show sheilings and cultivation ridging. The Chapman /Gibbs (1807-09)map depicts a sub rectangular enclosure with a 'T' plan building within it; annotated 'Oacret'.
