This airfield is situated on the beach at Traigh Mhor. No structures from the war period were noted at the time of visit. The airfield is now Barra Airport and is still in use when the tide is out.

Period of operation 1936 - present. Pre 1940 operators Northern & Scottish Airways and Scottish Airlines. Post 1945 operators Scottish Airways, BEA, British Airways, Flybe, Loganair.
