Loch Maddy (Loch nam Madadh) [name centred NF 931 685].

The REDBURN of Hull, Sherlock, from Petersburg to Liverpool, was driven on shore 24th ult., near Loch Maddy, North Uist. Crew and part of the cargo saved. The vessel it was feared would be wrecked.
