The map sheet assigned to this record is arbitrary. Barra Head is not noted as such on the 1997 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map but the name has been applied to the lighthouse (NL58SW 7) at NL 5489 8025, on Rubha Sgait.
Larn and Larn cite a location (N57 0.3 W7 31.3) which falls on map sheet NF60SW, but the reason for this is unclear.
Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 22 April 2002.
R and B Larn 1998.
