NMRS, MS/829/68 (no. 1522).

The map sheet assigned to this record is essentially arbitrary. Obb Bay cannot be identified from the available map evidence and the stranding is placed in the area suggested by Larn and Larn. The village on An t-Ob is at NG 017 863 and Whittaker cites 'Obbe Bay' (in this area) as a possible location.
Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 24 April 2002.
R and B Larn 1998; I G Whittaker 1998.
