Stornoway, 17th Mar., a nameboard, having on it "QUEEN" in white letters on a black ground, was found on North Uist last month.
Source: Shipping Intelligence, LL, No. 19,322, London, Tuesday March 28 1876.
NMRS, MS/829/70 (no. 4383).

The map sheet assigned to this record is arbitrary, being derived from the recorded location of discovery of wreckage; it remains unclear whether the stranding occurred on western (Atlantic) or the eastern (Minch) shore of the island.
The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998).
