Glasgow, Nov. 27, a large vessel is reported a total wreck off Banahead (?Barrahead). The crew went South yesterday per AROS CASTLE (s), for this port.

The map sheet assigned to this record is arbitrary. Barra Head is not noted as such on the 1997 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map but the name has been applied to the lighthouse (NL58SW 7) at NL 5489 8025, on Rubha Sgait.
The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998).
