Campbeltown, 9th Jan. `A board with `CORSAIR, for Quebec and Montreal¿, painted on a yellow ground, was picked up on the West Coast, where timber has been coming in, as stated on the 7th instant.'

North Uist, 17th Jan. `The CORSAIR, of Glasgow, bound to Malta, parted her moorings in the Sound of Bona [Barra], drifted on the Island of Helesay [Hellisay], and bilged: crew and most of the materials saved.'
