NLO: Butt of Lewis [name: NB 519 665].
17 November 1881, JANE MILLIN, 14 yrs old, of Sligo, Lloyd's 9 A. 1., last survey 3.81, wooden schooner, 87 tons, 5 crew, Master A. Killgallam, Owner H. Campbell, Sligo, departed Sligo for Troon, in ballast, wind ESE10, foundered, total loss, 12 miles off Lewis Light, Island of Lewis, Hebrides.

Stornoway, Nov. 21, 11.18 a.m., stranded near Butt of Lewis, a vessel supposed that was sighted on Thursday the 17th. Have identified name on wreckage as 'JANE MILLEN, of Sligo': crew supposed taken off by steamer bound east. [Record received incomplete].
NMRS, MS/829/69 (no. 3168).
(Classified as wooden schooner, in ballast: date of loss cited as 17 November 1881). This vessel foundered 12 miles off Lewis Light (?Butt of Lewis). Capt. Killgallan.
