Loch Shiaboist [name centred NB 255 482].
The district of Siabost (Shawbost) covers a considerable area on the exposed NW (Atlantic) coast of Lewis. The loss of this vessel at moorings suggests that she lay in Loch Shiaboist (Loch Shawbost), the only sheltered anchorage available locally.
