30 March 1898 ALICE, 13 years, of Stornoway, wood steam fishing boat, 21 ton, 8 men. Master D. Smith. Owner J. Mackenzie, Stornoway. Stornoway to fishing. Ballast. Machinery broke down vessel abanoned. Wind NE5. 6 miles E of Talsta [Tolsta] Head, Island of Lewis.
