REPORT DATE: 25/01/2002

Fairweather IV, fishing trawler registered as PD107 operating out of Peterhead. Built at Berwick Shipyard 1969, ship was lost after running aground in Loch Carnan, refloated and towed to her current location 1973/ 74. The wreck lies on its starboard side in the tidal zone with approximatley half of the wreck awash during high tides. The vessel retains much of its external original features, such as mast, the bridge and accomadation , fishing derricks, winding gear and a wooden workdeck; the central deck hatch cover is missing.
