Glasgow, 28th Nov., a telegram from Stornoway yesterday states that: the discharge of the GILSLAND (barq.) had been stopped, the whole of the cargo in good order having been saved: it amounted to about 150 tons. The remaining cargo, upwards of 400 tons wheat, was considerably damaged, and had been sold for £105: a large quantity of it had been discharged that day. An attempt would be made to get the barque off, and repair her on the patent slip.
