25 June 1881, CELESTE, 13 yrs old, of Troon, wooden yawl, 32 tons, 4 crew, Master S. Vint, Owner Capt. D. Boyle, R.N., Shewalton, Co. Ayr, departed Port Patrick [Portpatrick], Wigtonshire, for yachting, in ballast, 4 passengers, wind SW5, stranded, total loss, entrance to Stornoway Harbour.
