1 February 1864, VILLE DE ST MARTIN, brig, 126 tons, 6 crew (supposed), stranded, total loss, 6 lives lost, wind W6, SW side of Monach Island, Hebrides.

Stornoway, 13th Feb. Some boards, deck-beams, casks, spars, and other fragments of wreckage, were found on Monach Isle, North Uist, from the 2nd to the 4th Feb.: they are supposed to be from the VILLE DE ST. MARTIN (Fr. vessel), according to some papers picked up near the spot: 6 dead bodies had also been found on the beach.
