29 November 1847. TWEEDSIDE. Stranded at Benbecula.

Island of Benbicala, 18th Nov.. The TWEEDSIDE, Keal, of and from Hartlepool to Malta, drove on a bank between this place and South Uist, 16th inst., and has sustained some damage to her bottom; and it is feared, unless the weather moderate, she will become a total wreck.
