NLO: Camas Uig [name centred NB 023 335].

March 1876, OAK, 1 yr old, wooden lugger, 3 tons, 5 crew, Master and Owner D. Stewart, Inverness, departed Inverness for fishing, in ballast, foundered, total loss, 5 lives lost, Uig Bay, Hebrides.

Uig Bay is presumably to be equated with Camas Uig. The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998).
