I G Whittaker 1998.
The location of this stranding cannot be definitely ascertained from the available map evidence. The 1997 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map notes no place-names in 'Milton' but the NMRS database cites several such locations around NF 72 26. The coast hereabouts comprises extensive sands.
