Source: Shipping Intelligence, LL, No. 18,328, London, Thursday January 16 [1873].
NMRS, MS/829/66 (no. 3910).

The map sheet assigned to this record is arbitrary, being derived from the location of stranding and discovery of the boat. The parent vessel probably foundered in the Atlantic, possibly beyond Scottish waters.
The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998).
Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 30 June 2004.
