Full Description

F16 NF 8875 7333: ..a small hollow, apparently excavated for boulders and peat for the cairn which now supports the base of pole 3. This has exposed a group of stones from 0.3 x 0.28 x 0.1m to 0.6 x 0.l3m in size, possibly placed and at least partly sealed under peat. This feature appears to be part of an earlier cairn, situated on the low hilltop which would be highly visible especially from the south and east.
