Full Description
Structure E: A large ruined building lies to the south of these remains (smr nos. 3360 & 12178), near the end of the curved peninsula at the far southwest end of the island (NB 12397 33121). The vegetation around this area is heather-free and composed of greener pasture. The building measures 11m by 6m externally, and 7m by 4m internally, orientation is east0west. The walls are spread and measure between 1.5 - 2m. Stone is visible in places throughout the walling, it is difficult to clearly follow the shape of the building. A small mound of turf covered stones lie to east and west ends. An entrance is possibly present at the east end. A further small mound of turfed over stones lies 5m to the east, and measures 4m by 4m.
