Full Description

Current site has two buildings. Reids map of North Uist (1799) shows a mill at this site and the later 6" 1st ed Ordnance Survey sheet shows ‘Gerron Corn Mill’, lade and sluice at this location. The mill looks abandoned by 1901; the 6" 2nd ed OS map sheet shows both buildings are without roofs.
