NF76660 67185
Stone built fishtrap across tidal inlet, within about 13m of pole 97, continuing towards the south as a faint dyke amd westwards above shore, and also as stone walling running to north along the shore to the causeway. The shoreward stone wall turns through a righ tangle at NF76690 67233 and continues as a stone and turf dyke to NF 76726 67234. It joing up with the dyke across the road,… It has a steep face to the east, and a breach at NF 76713 67232 is caused by vehicle access. The fishtrap does not appear on the 1881 map, but part of the associated stone boundary wall does.
