Monument record 13940 - Cuitheir, Barra

Prominent oval green mound of prehistoric date, rising above surrounding level, with four upright squarish stones up to 0.8m high (width ).5m x 0.4m) and others partly covered by turf. The top of the mound is c. 4m in diameter, and lies towards the NW side of a larger, lower oval mound 12m wide with some stones showing around edge, especially to SE where at least one appears set orthostatically, and with possibly other stones beyond.
