Full Description

Possible standing stone, 2.55m high. It appears to be of naturally formed irregularly-shaped local rock which has been erected to a standing position, close to a spring, and with commanding views over East Loch Tarbert. The bulk of the stone has split away from the base section, and now leans at 20 deg. The stone is erected on sloping ground, and appears to be supported with chocking stones forming a roughly rectangular platform, particularly downslope where the platform projects 1.2m beyond the stone, to a height of 0.35m. In section, the base of the stone is approximately 1.25m square, and oriented NE-SW.
