4.3 sharpening stone/whetstone
a rectangular gneiss stone, 140mm by 30mm x 35mm, which has been used to sharpen metal implements - possibly farming equipment but most likely for small blades as it has only one sharpening face whereas a schthe would create two - was found lying next to the stream at NG 04360 94905. It is of unknown age
