Full Description

Possible boat noos/or eroding blackhouse:
the remains of a structure can be found on the western headland of the little harbour inlet @Leac an Aiseig@. All that remains are the low remnants of three walls, open towards the sea on the south east end, and approximatley blackhouse dimensions; c. 8m x 12m externally. No internal features can be made out.
The open end of the structure is only c. 5m from the shore, leading to the possibility that this was once a Blackhouse which has lost one end to the encroaching sea. However the bedrock shoreline is apparently stable.
