Full Description

18: NB 29954 20983. Indicated on the OS 1st ed and subsequend editions of the OS 1: 10,000 maps is a rectangular structure, probably a black house, however,t eh only trace that survives is a hard standing of large numbers of stones, presumably the remains of the building that have been recycled. The structure is visible as a roofed structure on aerial photograph 106/G/Scot/UK.104 no. 4256 taken in 1946, and on aerial photograph OS/67/118 no. 377 taken in 1967.
