19. Kildonan, South Uist. NF 7248 2877
c. 5m diameter, 0.3m depth of deposits. Surveyed June 1993, June 1994. Pasture. No pottery, shell, bone and worked stone. This site and Kildonan 20 are probably those referred to in RCAHMS records as Sligeanach Kildonan NF 726 286. Settlement; middens; small finds
Parker Pearson and Sharples
NF 7248 2877 A single trench in this small mound recovered shells, bone and pumice, indicating human activity, but there was no contemporary soil horizon and the activity appeared to have been much disturbed by recent erosion.
