Full Description

27. Kildonan, South Uist. NF 7269 2898
c.15 m diameter, 0.8m + depth of deposits. Surveyed June 1994. Cultivated land.
Scarce Viking Age pottery (base sherd and brass-impressed). Bone and shell. One sherd has light grass impressions. This is probably the site in RCAHMS records known as Sligeanach Deas, Bornish NF 728 291 Midden; bone point.
