Full Description

site 55: NF 7315 2187
40m across, 0.5m deep
Sherds are scarce. An area of c. 15m x 15m of the top of the midden is exposed as a surface down to which sand is extracted. The south and west sides are damaged by vehicle ruts. The site is susceptible to wind erosion. It probably extends 20-25m to the south where bone and shell are visible in rabbit scrapes on the other side of the sand hill.
